In addition to DJing, Reese also is known for her entrepreneurial endeavors and is a well known figure in the Orlando Technology Community. She participated and won in multiple Startup competitions during which eventually led to the launch of her company Crowd Current in 2025. Crowd Current is an audience engagement and event operations platform built for live entertainment. It gives venues, DJs, entertainers, and event teams a single place to manage guest interaction while simplifying the flow of live events behind the scenes.

How it started
Reese Kelsey professionally known as DJ Sequoia is an Orlando local born and raised. Music has always been a passion of hers, from singing covers of her favorite Disney songs as a young kid to now rocking out on some of Orlando’s biggest stages. She began DJing at the age of 19 with a love for EDM and the desire to pave a career for herself working in live events. At 23 she launched her own DJ company and began getting her first official for local tech conferences, launch parties, and networking events.
